I have been to Tap and had a similar experience. The location is awesome for a quick drink and bite to eat after work. Tap's menu is very light on the options, which says to me that they want to be known for their beverage offering more than their food. I also had the english muffin burger and much like you, mine was overcooked. But, overall, the restaurant space is nice, conducive to the big party or little nooks where a couple can have a drink and chat.

The thing I disliked most about Tap was the walk to the ladies room, which is up some flights of stairs, across the dining area, and tucked away. Not a great place to get drunk, especially in heels.

But I had a sandwich with pate and fig and it was really lovely!
