Nuevo Laredo

We were totally craving Mexican and ritas-and heard this was the spot. We were kind of disappointed to learn that there is no outside seating-but we got over it because that night the temperature had dropped.

We went on a Thursday around 8, and had about a 25 minute wait for 5 people. As the night went on, the place kept getting more crowded. As we waited outside with a rita and chips and salsa-we easily figured out that their drinks are no joke. They definitely add the tequila.

When we sat-we were handed huge menus that had pretty much every Mexican dish you can think of. We were told to try the brisket and lobster tacos-so we both went for it. Jenny also got the chorizo enchilada and we all shared cheese dip and a pitcher of margarita.

The tacos tasted really good but Jenny did not love her enchilada. The food was authentic-nothing fancy-and the service was pretty quick. The prices were fair and the place has a fun/lively atmosphere. I think two margaritas pretty much gave everyone a buzz.

It is a fun place-with good food-but it did not stand out to us as the best Mexican ever…
