Genki
It seems that everyone has a different opinion about Genki. We went on a random Monday night, so we definitely did not get to experience the ambiance the restaurant might offer…because on that night there was none.
I will say that the service was fabulous. She came right over and the food came out quickly. Unfortunately, the food was not what we were looking for at all! We both have sushi cravings like once a week if not more, and we didn’t even finish our rolls!
The menu was expensive so we just went for somewhat simple rolls, which still cost like $8/roll (which we all know by now is too much in our opinion)- and they were tiny! Plus, they just didn’t taste good. The eel was yucky, I didn’t like the sauce that they drowned our spicy tuna roll with, and the crunch roll with cream cheese was just average.
Hey-I liked my salad-it had good dressing and red peppers in it-which most house salads don’t include, but the pepper was not enough for us to go back.

If you know what sushi is, you will not like this place. Don’t go there unless of course you like contaminated raw fish.
