Nan

They always answer the phone, “Nan Thai Fine dining”-and they are not lying! This place is decorated very elegantly, the waitresses are traditionally dressed, and they even have different silverware/plates for when you first sit down. We sat at the Vijay Singh table. For those of you who do not know, once you win the masters, you have to cater a dinner for all the past winners. Vijay chose Nan and it has been a hit with the golfers ever since. On the way to the bathroom, there are quite a few framed, autographed, celebrity golfer pictures. Ok-so I guess we should mention the bathroom as it ended up a topic of conversation at the dinner table. Let’s just say they didn’t end the elegance there, the bathroom stayed true to the rest of the decor.

On to the food. It was great! It is not thai food in the sense of pad thai. In fact, they really didn’t have any noodle dishes. The menu consisted of duck, lamb, fish etc. The seasoning of the meat was how Thai was incorporated and the presentation was incredible! Just like most fine dining, the plate was not bombarded with lots of food, but we all had room for dessert and left satisfied and not uncomfortably full. The entrees are expensive-25 is the average-but if you have the dough or are celebrating an occasion-definitely go for it!
